Frontier Tech Launchpad
The Frontier Tech Launchpad is a dedicated space for FCDO Pioneers. Together, you'll experience a series of engaging and practical sessions facilitated by the Hub, designed to level up our shared knowledge and skills relating to multiple aspects of the FT programme. Over each stage you’ll be guided by members of the Frontier Tech Hub. Each one has a specialism and knowledge gained over years on the programme. Sessions are primarily for Pioneers, although some sessions may be opened up to include your implementing partners and coaches, too.
The Launchpad takes place over two learning journeys. If you’re new to the programme, then you’ll be starting on the first: Ready to Launch.

This is the core Launchpad journey. Each new cohort joins at the beginning of their pilot journey and attends six sessions between September and March.
From innovation methodologies and evidence to impactful storytelling, you’ll master the key ingredients which make a pilot as successful and impactful as possible.

This is a mini-series of three sessions aimed at pilots who are have already started their pilot journeys, and who have attended some Launchpad journey sessions in the past.
This next stage covers questions about sustainable business models, exiting a pilot and sourcing fundraising and partnerships moving forwards.

Since 2016, we’ve worked with over 90 FCDO staff on more than 70 pilots across 33 countries, and that includes you! The Launchpad offers you the chance to connect with your cohort of pilots and master the skills needed to produce incredible learning, stories and impact during your pilot journey.
